AI-SEO Audit
Run a free AI-SEO audit of your website and find out where you actually stand, both in traditional Google results and inside the AI answers that now sit above them.
Most SEO tools were built before AI Overviews existed. They check your titles, your meta tags and your page speed, and then they stop. Our SEO analysis checks all of that and then keeps going. It tests whether AI search engines are even permitted to read your site, whether you have told them what your content covers, and whether your pages are built so an AI system can quote them.
Search engine optimization used to mean one destination, the ten blue links. It now means two, because a growing share of queries get answered above the results. An audit that measures only the first one is telling you half the story about your search visibility.
The audit is free and it runs on the same engine we use for paying clients. There is no watered-down public version. Submit your website address and an email address, we analyze the site, and a graded report opens on screen.
What the AI-SEO Audit Checks
Every audit returns an overall grade plus a score for nine separate categories. Each category is built from individual checks, and each check either passes, warns or fails, so a score is never just a number you have to take on faith.
Eight of those nine are what any thorough website SEO audit should cover. The ninth is what separates an AI-SEO audit from a conventional one, and it is worth explaining properly.
AI Visibility: The Checks Most SEO Audits Still Do Not Run
Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity do not crawl the web the way the classic Googlebot did. They use their own crawlers, they obey their own directives, and they look for signals that did not exist when most SEO tools were written. A site can score well on a traditional audit and still be invisible to every one of them. This is the work increasingly called generative engine optimization, and it is measurable rather than mysterious.
Our audit tests the things that actually decide whether an AI system can use your content:
None of this is theoretical. Blocking an AI crawler in robots.txt is a single line of text, it is often added by a plugin or a host without anyone deciding to, and it removes you from AI answers completely. We find it on real sites regularly. For a deeper look at this area on its own, see our AI Visibility Audit.
How to Run Your Free AI-SEO Audit
Four steps, and you do not need an account.
You can run up to three audits from the same connection in any twenty-four hour period. That limit exists so the tool stays fast and free for everyone, not to push you toward a paid plan. If an audit fails because a site blocks automated visits or is temporarily down, it does not count against your three.
What Your Results Page Shows
Your results live at their own address, so you can bookmark them, return to them, or send them to a developer without running the audit again. Every report includes:
The scores and the issue list are yours immediately and for free. The emailed code gives you the detail behind each issue: what is wrong, how to correct it, and roughly how much work the fix is. We ask for an email address for that reason and for nothing else.
How the Scoring Works
Nothing in the report is a subjective grade. Every category is a weighted set of checks with defined thresholds, and the report shows the points earned against the points available for each one. Three examples from the On-Page category:
Because the thresholds are fixed, two audits of the same page return the same score, and a rise in your score means you genuinely changed something. You end up with an SEO analysis you can hand straight to a developer and a list of opportunities ranked by what will move search rankings most.
The audit engine is ours. It is the same engine behind our internal SEO platform, and it also feeds business listing data into BizScoreAI through an API. We built it because the commercial SEO tools we were paying for could not tell a client whether an AI search engine was able to read their site.
How Often Should You Run an SEO Audit?
Run one now for a baseline, then again after any change that touches the whole site: a redesign, a platform migration, a hosting move, a new SEO plugin, or a bulk content update. Those are the moments when something quietly breaks.
Beyond that, monthly is enough for most sites. Auditing more often than your site actually changes tells you nothing new. What matters more than frequency is auditing after every significant change, because that is when one line in robots.txt or a single missing canonical tag can undo months of work and cost you the consistent organic traffic you built.
If you would rather not track this yourself, that is what our AI-SEO service is for. We audit continuously, handle the keyword research, fix what we find, and report on it monthly.
AI-SEO Audit Questions
How do I run a free SEO audit?
Enter your website address and email in the analysis bar at the top of this page. The audit runs against your live site and your graded results open on screen. No account, no card, nothing to install.
Is the free audit genuinely free?
Yes. The overall grade, all nine category scores and the full list of issues cost nothing. The step-by-step fix detail is unlocked by the code we email you, which is also free. There is no paid tier of this tool.
How many audits can I run?
Three per connection per twenty-four hours. Failed audits do not count against that.
Why does an SEO audit matter?
Because most ranking problems are not strategic, they are mechanical. A blocked crawler, a missing canonical tag, a page that takes six seconds to render, one title tag duplicated across two hundred pages. None of that appears in your content plan, and all of it caps how well you can rank. A website SEO audit finds the mechanical problems so your content work is not fighting your own site.
What makes this an AI-SEO audit rather than an SEO audit?
The AI visibility category. On top of the conventional checks, we test whether AI search engines can reach your site, whether you publish an llms.txt file, whether OpenAI’s search crawler is allowed through, and whether your content is structured so it can be quoted inside an AI answer. Conventional SEO tools check none of that.
Do I still need this if I already use other SEO tools?
Probably, and for one narrow reason. The established SEO tools are excellent at the traditional checks and most of them do not yet test AI crawler access, llms.txt or AI content blocking. If your current tool has never mentioned those, it has not looked at them.
How do I fix the issues it finds?
Each issue in the unlocked report explains what is wrong, how to correct it and roughly how much work it involves. Many are quick and self-explanatory. If you would rather hand the list to someone, contact us and we will work through it with you.
Can I audit a competitor’s website?
Yes. The audit works on any publicly reachable site, so you can run a competitor and compare their category scores against yours. Sites that block automated visits will not return a result.
Does this cover local SEO?
This audit covers your website. Local visibility also depends on your business listings and on the consistency of your name, address and phone number across the web, which is a separate check. See Local AI-SEO and our NAP scanner for that side of it.
Does a better score mean more leads?
Not on its own. The audit removes the mechanical ceiling on your search rankings. Turning the resulting traffic into leads is a content and conversion question, and it is the next piece of work rather than a by-product of this one.
