What is Hermes?
Hermes is an open-source AI agent framework. It remembers what it learns about your business, follows skill packs written for specific jobs, and can run tasks on a schedule. We run Hermes agents for our own work at NewSunSEO and set yours up the same way.
How do I talk to it?
By email, through the agent's own inbox, or through a private Telegram chat. Use whichever is easier in the moment; it is the same agent either way.
Which email account should the agent use?
A new account made just for the agent, such as a fresh Gmail address or a mailbox on your own domain. Please do not use your personal inbox. We walk you through creating it and connecting it.
Who can send it work?
Only the email addresses and the Telegram chat you approve. Messages from anyone else are ignored.
Does it publish or send anything on its own?
No. Drafts come back to you first. You review, edit and decide what goes out.
Does it do anything when I am not talking to it?
It can run scheduled jobs we set up together, such as preparing next week's posts. Otherwise it waits for your next assignment.
Who sets it up and maintains it?
We do. We install it, connect your channels, load the skill packs, keep it updated and check on it.
