We are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and those individuals browsing and buying on our client’s sites. The NewSunSEO - Web Analytics / Analytics service relies upon the effective use of anonymous information collected during the use of the service. The type of information collected depends upon the type of user.
OUR CLIENTS
We collect email addresses and phone numbers to follow up on expressed interest in the NewSunSEO services, answer support inquiries, distribute product update information and marketing messages, and provide value added content regarding online marketing best practices and trends. NewSunSEO provides advanced analytics based on product, campaign, product-related media, and other marketing content entered into the NewSunSEO application directly by authorized client users. In addition, the NewSunSEO servers collect information on products, usage, and customer behavior to enhance the effectiveness of client campaigns and to provide data for reporting and automated marketing and merchandising tools. All of this data is kept confidential unless otherwise agreed to for the purposes of joint marketing or legal reasons as specified in our Service Agreement. Information will not be analyzed or aggregated across clients unless a supplemental agreement by all participating clients is reached to do so.
VISITORS TO CLIENT WEBSITES
In the normal use of NewSunSEO - Web Analytics / Analytics technologies, information will be collected about user behavior and potentially user-provided data. NewSunSEO does use cookie technology to recognize returning customers but stores no information on our servers that is specific to the identity of the user. This information is used to improve the accuracy of product suggestions and to support the collection of accurate data about general visitor behavior. NewSunSEO also provides reports regarding the performance of the campaigns we allow marketers to create and manage through the tool. This analysis does not include personally identifiable information.
VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE
NewSunSEO.com employs Web Analytics / Analytics technologies in same the manner described in the "Visitors to Client Web Sites" section above. As is true of most Web sites, we also gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We also use first party web beacon technology and cookies to collect and analyze information similar to that stored in our Web log files. This data is not tied to personal information, except as necessary to prevent abuse or fraud on our site and systems.
MAILING LIST SUBSCRIBER
We maintain a list of email addresses of individuals that are interested in the NewSunSEO services and for the purposes of distributing information about our services and useful information related to online marketing. To have your name removed from mailings please send an email to info@NewSunSEO.com with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject of the message. email will only be sent to representatives of companies with whom we have a prior business relationship or who have "opted-in" or indicated their desire to receive these mailings.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We employ industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring, receiving and storing consumer data. Access to data is applied using the following standards.
- 1. Authorized client company employees may access data related to performance, merchandising, and usage directly related to their site and campaigns based upon tools and access provided by NewSunSEO.
- 2. Authorized client company employees may add additional users by entering their information, giving them similar access rights. This additional user contact information may be used to maintain business communications with the client if the primary contacts are removed from the system or not responding.
3. NewSunSEO employees who require the information in order to provide products or services to you or perform their jobs in furtherance of providing products or services.
YOUR CONSENT
Periodically we may need to update our privacy policy to reflect changes to the means we use to collect information or the usage of collected information. When this occurs we make reasonable efforts to alert you to these changes, including posting a prominent notice on the site and/or via email. This policy was posted June 2006.
We do not share personally identifiable information without consent, unless required by law. Your use of the NewSunSEO Web Analytics / Analytics application signifies your assent to the NewSunSEO Privacy Policy. NewSunSEO client companies assume responsibility for ensuring that their policies do not conflict with the NewSunSEO policies.
